Recently, on the last day of Sukkot (Feast of Booths), Messianic Jewish communities celebrated Simchat Torah. These believers take the Torah scrolls and roll them back to the first book of the Scriptures, Genesis (First Book of Moses). This means the previous year of reading has concluded and a new year of reading cycle will begin again soon. What a joy to see how these believers rejoiced in this celebration, being thankful for the Word of God and its very essence (knowing Yeshua Messiah, "Jesus" is the Word who became flesh!
Adding to the joy of this celebration, Israelis everywhere were so elated that after over two years of captivity the remaining living hostages were finally set free! Thank everyone who prayed for these hostages' freedom, and please continue to pray for the healing, health and recovery. Please especially pray for those families who mourn the passing of their loved ones who died during Oct. 7th, 2023. Pray that their loved ones will be returned to them for proper closure and memorial services.
Messiah's Compassion has had many opportunities to pray for Israeli people who need healing or special needs. It's an honor to be here in this Land during this time and pray and encourage these leaders and individual people as the Spirit guides. Thank you for your support and especially the prayers.
