Pastor Alexander in west Ukraine
Messiah's Compassion was blessed to recently serve Jewish people in west Ukraine in a couple of cities. Jeff spoke at once Jewish Messianic congregation in the beginning of March. Having visited a couple two Messianic congregations and a Pentecostal church for a special prayer meeting, we are truly grateful for the safe journey by vehicle, and the fellowship of the believers who warmly received us. Believers are very weary of the ongoing war in Ukraine, but they show tenacity by their perseverance to worship the LORD and serve others. There was a beautiful spirit of worship in each location.
Messiah's Compassion was invited to visit and pray for a Jewish grandmother who has been unable to walk since 2019. Luba, her, and grandson all survived the attacks in east Ukraine during the war. They evacuated to west Ukraine and live government dormitory housing. The local Messianic Jewish believers met them and began to help them in practical ways. We were blessed that both grandmother and her daughter were ready to pray for forgiveness of sins. Luba and Anya prayed to receive Yeshua (Jesus) as Messiah! Glory to His Name! (A food package and some medical basics were provided also for this Jewish family. The local believers will continue to bless them and disciple them.)
Please earnestly pray for Jewish people in ISRAEL and Ukraine to be open to the message of good news as they celebrate special services during Purim and Passover. Thank you for all you do to help us reach the Jewish people with the love of the Messiah!
