Eastern CZ Republic
Writing to you today from the Czech Republic, Messiah's Compassion is gearing up to return to Israel in mid-September. As you are aware, the ongoing war has been prolonged by many factors with fighting terrorists in both the south and the north of Israel. Recently, the Israeli Air Force made a massive preemptive strike in southern Lebanon when its intelligence gathered that massive rocket attacks by Hezbollah were imminent, being planned to strike deep into Israel. The terrorists answered the with over 300 rockets and 20 drones, mostly which were eliminated by the Iron Dome. However, there was a woman lightly injured in Akko. So, we praise the LORD for His protection during these past few days and pray that Iran will rethink its plan to strike Israel as it did in April this year.
Please pray for renewed strength for the Jewish Messianic pastors and Arab Christian pastors and their families. They are exhausted from the stress of the ongoing war.
Likewise, please continue to pray for Ukraine which received around 200 missile and drone strikes throughout its country a few days ago. Many people perished; many were wounded. The international community has largely lost its desire to intervene in Ukraine, even with basic humanitarian support. Messiah's Compassion is doing whatever is possible, but the congregations still request assistance for food, medicines and basic sanitary supplies. Messiah's Compassion is still committed to assist as funds are available to purchase these basic supplies. Thousands of people have lost jobs and housing due to the war. Please pray about helping MC with a special offering for the upcoming Biblical Feast of Trumpets and Booths for this Autumn, both in Ukraine and Israel. Thank you for your faithfulness in prayers and support! A few weeks ago, Jewish and Slavic people were immersed in water baptism in the Black Sea by the New Jerusalem Jewish Messianic congregation in Odessa, Ukraine. Hallelujah!
